Global Community, Creative Process
and Photography

Lately, I’ve had the chance to work on a series of projects that reminded me just how much I value collaboration — and the vibrant creative community here in London (and beyond)!

The Highlights

  • I captured event photography for BeZero — focusing on the commitment and intentionality of a team working at the intersection of climate and innovation. A refreshing challenge, and one that aligned with my documentary/journalistic approach.

  • For Luca, an EFT (emotional freedom technique) practitioner and entrepreneur. I delivered a headshot session for her upcoming business launch. We shot in a quiet studio and outdoor location, at our own pace, and her joy with the final images reminded me why I love one-on-one portrait work so much. They’ll be live on her new site soon.

  • Occasions is a London-based Asian Creative Group. I took on a studio shoot for a group of young actors, capturing model-style headshots. This pushed me out of my usual format (hello, artificial lighting!) but I leaned into the challenge. Loved the results and loved seeing the actors shine.

  • I shot professional headshots at the Barbican Centre using only natural light. We made it work thanks to a last-minute assist from a musician friend who doubled as a reflector holder — a reminder that sometimes the best crews come together unexpectedly.

  • I traveled to New York to document an anniversary session in Prospect Park for Elif & Marcus — all shot on 120mm film (my favourite medium). Since I wasn’t familiar with the location, I scouted it in advance and mapped out the light and mood. The shoot turned out beautifully personal and timeless.

All of these opportunities grew from a slow, steady practice: saying yes to collaborations, building trust through creative process, and showing up for the people who believed in my work.

What started off as portrait shoots among friends has evolved into something far more meaningful: a growing body of work rooted in creative collaboration and community building.
